Reflecting on My Trip to Bucharest: Connection, Inspiration, and Planning Ahead

Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Bucharest, a trip that combined business and a touch of seasonal magic. The primary purpose of my visit was to meet with a long-standing client—someone I’ve had the privilege of working with on a variety of projects over the years. Our collaboration has grown and evolved, and this meeting was the perfect opportunity to reflect on 2024’s achievements and set the stage for an ambitious and productive 2025.

Why Face-to-Face Matters

As someone who now works remotely and independently, I deeply value the flexibility to travel and meet clients face-to-face. There’s something so rewarding about stepping away from screens and emails to have in-person conversations. This meeting reminded me why I’ve always loved connecting directly with my network. 

Exploring the City

Beyond the meeting room, Bucharest offered a vibrant and inspiring backdrop for the trip. I had the chance to explore the city, immersing myself in its rich history and culture. One highlight was visiting the Christmas market. Between the twinkling lights, festive atmosphere, and the delicious local treats, it was a great experience that brought a little extra joy to the trip. 

Looking Ahead to 2025

This trip was more than just a meeting—it was a chance to refocus and gather inspiration for the year ahead. 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting and busy year, with plans to meet more of my network across the globe. One of the greatest joys of what I do is the opportunity to combine meaningful work with the chance to explore new places and cultures.

A Year of Growth and Connection

As I look ahead to the new year, I’m grateful for the relationships I’ve built and the freedom to nurture them in ways that feel authentic and impactful. Meeting clients in person, exploring their cities, and taking the time to align on shared goals reminds me why I love what I do.
